AC Powered Door Alarm with Contact Closure and Adjustable Delay

Do you need a door alarm with a Contact Closure?

Instead of an Audio Alarm, the DA10-ACC provides you with an SPST Normally Open Switch Contact Closure. This can connect to a remote signaling device or security system.

The AC power supply comes with a 12 foot cable. Both the Power Supply and Contact Wires are attached to a terminal strip inside the main unit. Because there are no connectors, this improves reliability and eliminates the possibility or accidental disconnection.

Two versions are available. The DA10-ACC comes with a North American Power Supply, and the DA10-ACC-U comes with a Universal World-Wide Compatible Power Supply.

The main unit and magnet can be attached using double sided tape (supplied) or fastened with screws. The AC power supply plugs into an AC outlet.

This system offers the same delay features and options as all our Door Alarms.

The DA10-ACC can be installed on any freezer or fridge. It will work on any appliance, upright or chest. In fact it will work on any door in your building. The DA10-ACC has an adjustable delay circuit which allows you to keep the door open for up to 2 minutes without it responding. After this delay, it closes the Switch Contacts to alert you to the fact that the door has been left open. Once the door is closed, it resets to its monitoring state.

An Indicator illuminates while the Door is Open to let you know the unit is operating properly.

Because of the delay feature, you are not forced to listen to an annoying alarm while you want the door open. It will let you know when it has been left open however.

The DA10-ACC door alarms are high quality units developed and manufactured here in Canada, primarily for use with Freezers and Refrigerators. They can however be used on any door which requires an indicator to let you know when it has been left open.

These devices do not have On/Off switches, so they can not be accidentally disabled. The D10-ACC-0/2 has an adjustable delay of 2 to 120 seconds which is preset to 45 seconds. Other delay ranges up to 14 minutes are available.

The size of the main unit is 4.4" Long, 2.6" High and 1.1" Deep.
