DA-7ADP Freezer Door Alarm
DA-7ADP - Freezer/Fridge Door Alarm With Adjustable Delay
Has anyone ever accidentally left your freezer or fridge door open? If so, you know how serious a problem this can be. Although there are some freezer temperature alarms available, I have not come across anything like the DA-7ADP made by Alectro Systems.
The DA-7ADP is very easy to install on any freezer or fridge without any tools. It will work on any appliance, upright or chest. In fact it will work on any door in your building. The DA7-ADP has an adjustable delay circuit which allows you to keep the door open for up to 1-1/2 minutes without it responding. After this delay, it emits a loud pulsing tone to alert you to the fact that the door has been left open. Once the door is closed, it resets to its monitoring state.
Because of the delay feature, you are not forced to listen to an annoying sound while you want the door open. It will let you know when it has been left open however.
The very low current drain allows the DA-7ADP to operate for about a year, under normal use, on one 9 volt alkaline battery (included).
Applications
- Freezer Door
- Refrigerator Door
- Cupboard or closet doors
- Entrance door alert (know when someone enters)
- Medical or Production supply cabinets
The DA-7ADP door alarms are high quality units developed and manufactured here in Canada, primarily for use with Freezers and Refrigerators. They can however be used on any door which requires an indicator to let you know when it is open.
These devices do not have On/Off switches, so they can not be accidentally disabled. The DA-7ADP has an adjustable delay of 0 to 90 seconds which is preset to 45 seconds. Other custom delay ranges are available on request.
