CAUTSSTS(A) Silent Instrument Cable

Eliminates the buzz and pops when disconnecting an instrument

When a musician connects or disconnects the cable from their instrument, the result is a popping noise as the connector touches other contacts on it's way in or out. While disconnected, it often suffers from a very audible buzzing through the sound system, only to subside once reconnected with the instrument.

This cable, using a connector featuring a special sleeve, mutes the connection until it is fully inserted to an instrument - pushing the sleeve in and unmuting the connection. Likewise, once pulled out, the sleeve disengages and causes the line to instantly mute.

The CAUTSSTS(A) Cable, made by Alectro Systems, uses high quality digiflex cabling and neutrik connectors.

The CAUTSSTS(A) series is available in several lengths, with an option for a straight silent connector or with an angled silent connector - which is simply denoted with an A at the end of the part number.
