Soundmate Receiver Compatibility

The new Telex Soundmate SR-50 pocket receivers are the direct replacement for the older style AAR-10 receivers. Although the SR-50s are larger, they have a tighter bandwidth which reduces the background noise, and they use AA batteries instead of AAA batteries. The AA batteries are less expensive and last longer.

There are several different channels available for all the receivers. The SR-50 receivers and some of the AAR-10 receivers use letters do designate the channel. Some of the older AAR-10 receivers used numbers. If you have an AAR-10 which uses a letter, the SR-50 with the same letter will work. If you have an AAR-10 with a number, please refer to the compatibility chart below.

NOTE: Some people confuse the Number " 1 " with the letter " I ". Look at the chart below carefully.
