Examples of Custom Built Cabinets
Here are some of the more common Church Sound System cabinets which we build.
Single Pedestal Cabinet
The
Single Pedestal Cabinet has a locking pedestal section on one side
which is usually equipped with rack mount rails for installing amplifiers,
equalizers, power bar and any other rack mount equipment which doesn't
require intervention during the service. The shelf also has a locking
door which is piano hinged. This is where the Mixer, CD recorder
and any other equipment which you need access to during operation
is located.

Double Pedestal Cabinet
The
Double Pedestal Cabinet has two locking pedestal sections. One is
usually equipped with rack mount rails for installing amplifiers,
equalizers, power bar and any other rack mount equipment which doesn't
require intervention during the service. The other pedestal is usually
equipped with shelves for storage. Sometimes we install equipment
in there also if required. The shelf has a locking door which is
piano hinged. This is where the Mixer, CD recorder and any other
equipment which you need access to during operation is located.
We use the Double Pedestal style of cabinet if the amount of equipment won't fit in the Single Pedestal version.

Compact Cabinet
The
Compact Cabinet is often used for smaller sound system where floor
space is at a premium. It is often equipped with rack mount rails
in the bottom and a sliding shelf for the mixer. A CD Recorder /
Player is often installed above the mixer.
